How do the effects of moving up and down work?
Moving up is always towards the leader, while moving down is the opposite, it's not related to the numbers on the cards. The cards on the left are placed in descending numerical order and those on the right in ascending numerical order, but the effects work the same way. Moving all your ducks up means moving them to the position immediately above (closer to the leader).
Are the extra points for all opponent ducks above mine?
No. You gain one extra point for each duck from another team immediately above yours, meaning adjacent and closer to the leader.
At the end of the round, do I have to discard the ducks furthest from the leader on both the left and right?It depends. You have to discard the row(s) furthest from the leader. If the row on the right or left is further down (farther away) than the other, you only discard the ducks from one side.
LEADERS
Captain Feathereal
When an effect moves a duck to the same position as the leader (collide), that duck swaps places with the first alone duck on the opposite side, counting from the leader. If there are no alone ducks on the opposite side, nothing happens.
Admiral Plumagelina
Your duck receives 1 extra point for each duck from another team that is in the same position, whether clustered or not.
Pioneer Quackhart
The duck(s) in the furthest row(s) that is(are) discarded at the end of the round receive 2 extra points, even if it is (they are) scattered.
Sergeant Furious Wing
The ducks adjacent to him (in the position immediately above or below) gain 1 extra point for each duck from another team that is in the opposite position.
E.g., The ducks in position 3 (regardless of the card value) gain +1 for each duck from another team in position 5 (regardless of the card value).
Lieutenant Duckaling
When an effect moves a duck to the same position as the leader (collide), that duck is moved to the space farthest down (farthest from the leader) on the opposite side and joins the other duck(s) there
